Tastykake Krimpets...not impressed!

So, I was in the 7-11 yesterday to hit up the free ATM, when I happened upon a Tastykake display. Amongst the many varieties of Krimpets and Juniors, I narrowed it down to Jelly or Butterscotch Krimpets.

Jelly, the seemingly less messy choice was my selection. Having never had Tastykakes before, but having heard Ron and others rave about them on the air, I had high expectations. I was definitely let down by the jelly. Not awful, but far from good.

Should I have gone with butterscotch or another variety? Must be one of those things that you like because you grew up with it.

I like both varieties, but butterscotch is the better of the two. I do advise staying away from the strawberry frosted krimpets, though. Very nasty stuff.

I tried the butterscotch and they are good. The Koffee Kake was good too. Still somewhat overrated, however.

before you open the krimpet, put it on the table upside down and gently rub it back and forth for a few seconds.
