How Did You Celebrate Father's Day

I just had my first father's day - what a great time. The celebration lasted 1 1/2 hours, then I had to go to work.

John John and I ate a bottle and I burped him to youtube - watching Sugar Ray videos. (I've never owned an album but I go to youtube every time I can when I have a band's song stuck in my head - never knew Sugar Ray was STP and Rage combined [see 10 seconds vid])

Anyhoo - I then sat down for pancakes, coffee and OJ... waiting for me after the Sugar Ray fest. Outstanding.

How did all you buddays celebrate or help your sig-other celebrate? :drunk:

Wow, I did the same thing! My father was trying to do it himself and he just is not in good health anymore, so I helped him and then I dragged like 20 bundles of branches and logs to the street and I am wiped out. I helped him with the brick deck a few weeks ago.

I would have killed for 8 minutes. My dad was at a friends house getting ready to go to the shooting range and he cut off our conversation at 2:29.
I cried for five minutes, and then got on with my day. :sad:

Furie got to sleep late and do absolutely nothing. He could do what ever he wanted, play on the computer, xbox 360 and generally get spoiled.

We celebrated last Sunday for schedule purposes. My sister took him to a minor league ball game with the grandson, then we all had a bbq back at the house with the grandkids. Good times :drunk:

I love that game - I just finished it!

My kids got me Guitar Hero III for my xBox. I was pretty psyched when my 4 yr old started dancing around to "School's Out" by Alice Cooper. Cheeseburgers for dinner and I got to coach my daughter's kindergarten t-ball game.

All in all - a great day.

Went to the Range with Dad. Ate lunch. Watched Soccer. Watched Tiger. Told him thanks for everything. Gave him a hug. Said, 'I love you.' Drove home.

It was a great day.

We also tried to make today 8's first Father's Day, but Baby 8 wasn't cooperating.

My BF and i brought breakfast to my Grandmas where he met her for the firs time.

The four of us sat around and talked for a few hours, really enjoyed it.

Went to Atlantic City with my chick, my parents, my aunt and uncle, then to my sister's house for a BBQ.

Wife had to teach a class at 1, so I took the kids down to the boat, went sailing for a couple of hours, picked up the wife at 3, went sailing for a couple more- this time with beer (:clap:) then out to dinner (mexican and Corona on a patio in the sun). All in all a glorious day.


Forgot to call my father, though :nono::thumbdown: -1 for being a bad son.

Wish I had a real exciting Father's Day story but all I did was go to my son's Little League game in the morning and then went home and did some work around the house (most of it related to the storms that blew through on Saturday night which flooded my garage). At about 3:00 p.m my kids and wife brought me presents (the new REM cd and the latest Jack johnson cd) and then my kids went back to playing on the computer and XBox.
