Ronnie was talking today about how he used to get reactions from taking certain vitamins and would get into arguments with people because he would be agitated. I get that a lot from many different foods. I can't drink cow's milk so from time to time I drink soy milk instead. Well, about a half an hour after drinking it I get so agitated that I feel like breaking things. :wallbash:
The obvious answer is to stop drinking it, but I get reactions from a lot of foods like sugar, caffeine, meats, breads, spicy foods etc. and it's really frustrating. I feel like I have to eat so blandly in order to feel good...like a diet based on brown rice and steamed vegatables. I like eating healthy, but that is a bit much.
Can any of you relate to this?

It's not bland the way I make it!!! :furious:
Kidding... and seriously, maybe this is my problem? Or my SISTER'S problem??? I do get agitated during the day but I never pinpointed it to something I've eaten.

I always enjoy the rice dishes you make, but even you wouldn't want to have them every meal. I think your sister's issues are probably exacerbated by the food she eats, but it think it might be just a little more than than:wink:

Lately when I drink coffee or eat chocolate--not even that much--I feel my heart pounding. Can one become suddenly sensitive to caffeine?

I think it's possible. I'm not sure why, but i think we can get food sensitivities from things we never had problems with.

I wouldn't? I eat my brown rice dishes like Fezzie eats Partycake ice cream.

I have been this way for the past couple of years and i always attribute it to not having caffeine or large amounts of sugar in my diet. Any time i have, i dont even know, less than a moderate amount of caffeine and/or sugar my heart starts to pound, i start to sweat and my stomach goes sour.
I've learned what my limit is but sometimes it still sneaks up on me.
