Yes, I've decided to enter the 21st century with this weird, wild, thing you kids today refer to as the "inter-net" and selling a jeep on that popular website referred to as, "e-bay". cost me 49 clams to post my ad. no photos. i haven't figured that out yet. how do i get the polaroid shot into the computer? ponderous man, ponderous.

Any suggestions on how I can avoid getting hoodwinked on this site, or is it pretty much idiot proof ( i pray). wish me godspeed and good luck.

I thought you quit?

Just kidding... is it an actual polaroid picture? In which case you will have to either scan it, or go to your local photomat (or maybe a Wal-Mart, etc.) to have them scan it in for you. Then you can upload it to either a free service (photobucket, etc.) or e-Bay's server.

stick your polaroid in the 5 1/4" floppy drive and type Load"polaroid",8,1

actually, i've never used ebay, so i can't give any advice. there are plenty of stories of buyers getting scammed (getting a picture of an xbox instead of a real xbox, etc.), but i'm not sure on the seller's end.

I've been on eBay for years. Almost always good if you do a little research.
Hell, I bought The Cruising Vessel on eBay!

that's a sweet ride!!! the trunk looks bigger than my apartment! any interior pics?

as for ebay cars, is there any sort of grace-period or test drive involved. what about delivery? what if you get the car and it has no engine under the hood? any info would be helpful (in the early stages of considering a new/used car)...

I got her locally. I was able to talk with the seller (great guy. It was his dad's car) I went and picked it up myself.

And yes I have some interior pics. I'll try to get them up later. White leather power seats. The dash was a masterpiece.

Well, gotta give you cred from jumping in and starting with SELLING A CAR ! I think my first ebay sale was a book or a cd or some such trifle to see if it actually worked.

I sold an Edison phonograph and an antique German doll for my mom. The phonograph fetched 1500 bucks and the doll 950. More recently, I sold a bunch of receipt printers for my boss (he gave me 25%). Those little buggers sell like hot cakes!
