What am I doing wrong with Photobucket?

First and foremost, I have a free account that I've had for a few years.

Lately I haven't been able to upload. I thought it was because I exceeded the acct allowance so I deleted a slew of pics. I still can't upload.

Did I miss a newsletter? It's quite possible.

They recently changed the way you upload pics, but I didn't have to change anything with mine. Does it look different than it used to?

Not really. I keep getting "Upload failed."

Should I just start a new account?

You shouldn't have to open a new account, but I can't figure out what could be wrong. I've had mine for about 4 or 5 years, and I haven't had a problem. But the upload process definitely looks a lot different than it did a few months ago.


Hold on. I just checked. You can toggle back and forth between the old loader and the new loader. Look in the gray box below the loader. If you're on the old version, try clicking the new loader. Maybe that will help.

I can't figure out the new system on PhotoBucket either, Alice. Luckily they give you the option to use the old uploader. It's located right underneath the "Choose Files" button.
