So with MLS expanding into Philadelphia, Chester PA to be specific, I wonder if Ron'll become a soccer fan now? Or at least develop an interest.

As I recall, Ron (like a lot of people) gets really into The World Cup every four years. I think that will continue but I doubt he'll be following the Chester United or FC Chester, or whatever they'll call it. That is - unless they sign Steve Carlton Jr.

Im happy for philly. They needed a team badly. Good sports town. Creates instant rivalry with New England and NY. League needs rivalrys. Will they ever be Man U vs Chelsea type rivalrys? prob not but anything close to it be nice.

I really wish MLS would create an identity of its own and stop with the use of FC after team names.
In North America, the world sport of football is known as soccer. Therefore, MLS teams should be referenced as SC.
I love soccer and support MLS, but that's just one major gripe I have with the league.
