Creeeeepy... though I am very skeptical of anything like this when it comes up. It's just way too easy to doctor something like that.
I will, however, be a little creeped out for the rest of the evening.

This one also gives me the chills. I haven't seen anyone show that it is a fake. I might be wrong. If anyone knows it is a hoax, please let me know:

I used to see stuff like that all the time, when I worked in photo labs. There's a million different ways that glares can be caused, but sometimes it's WAY creepy. I had one shot of a house where a guy had recently died. There was a ghostly image on the roof that formed his initials.

It really wasn't that hard. I just Googled "Ghost Head Video" and it was the sixth result. I 'm no video analysis expert, but even I noticed the "ghost's" arm at normal speed.

That explanation makes sense. It did seem odd that someone was just randomly filming a church chimney and then down to that spot on the corner. It also looked liked the girl had white makeup on to look especially ghostly.

Ok i was a little creeped out also, but skeptical about it. This video at least has a very logical explanation for what likely happened and I believe it to be a fake also now. Thanks JS.

It's all in their head.
Medical researchers have also studied the effects of electrical fields on people's brains. Electrical stimulation to the angular gyrus of the brain, for example, can cause the sensation of someone behind you mimicking your movements. Electrical stimulation to different parts of the brain has also caused people to hallucinate or seem to have near-death experiences. (http://science.howstuffworks.com/ghost3.htm)

I don't believe in ghosts, per se. But I guess a lot of people have a story. Here's mine:
When we were in college, a bunch of us were going up to a bed and breakfast in Pennsyllvania for a ski trip. My wife to be and I got there early on Friday to beat the blizzard that was forecast. The rest of our friends never made it because the blizzard shut down the roads. So, my wife and I were stuck there for the night with this creepy old woman who owned the place.
The room my wife and I slept in looked like a teenage girl's room with pictures of girlfriends all over the place and other teenage girl type paraphenalia. That room was ice cold the whole night despite the fact that the rest of the house was cozy. My wife and I never thought anything about it though. The next morning we were talking to the woman over breakfast and learned that she had had two kids. Her son had died in a car accident in his teens and her daughter had committed suicide soon afterwards. We were a little freaked out to know we were in the girl's room but we were going home that day anyway since our friends decided not to come up that weekend.
A couple of weeks later we all went back there again because my friends didn't want to lose their deposits and the lady agreed to let them reschedule. Anyway, we neglected to mention the dead kids story to anyone. The first morning, over breakfast, one couple was complaing how cold their room had been the night before and how a suitcase that was laying flat on a dresser had just fallen off in the middle of the night. After asking them what room they were in we found out that (yep you guessed it) they had stayed in the same room.
Ooooooooooooooooh!!! Spoooooooooooky!!!

A drafty room and a suitcase, which was most likely bigger than the dresser top and probably had things in it (an empty suitcase sits on the floor or under the bed, no?), so an unbalance caused it to fall.
Not very spooky.

my dads house is haunted. its a plantation built in the 1850's and there was a servant girl about 12 years old who got burned to death making soup and she haunts the place. when a tornado knocked it down on 2002, my dad had to rebuild it and 2 construction companies quit the job because their workers would not go back in the house after seeing a ghost. they said the same stories we had heard my dad tell about the ghost despite never hearing it or knowing the house was haunted. they said a 12 year old black girl in in oldey time clothes came up to them, asked them to play with her, and when the responded the girl turned around and walked through the porch door....THROUGH IT.... on the 2nd story, and the porch had been knocked down 50 years ago at least. my dad always told us about the girl but we had never seen it despite living there for 20 + years. my friends said they saw it. the same thing and it happens on all 4 floors. some saw it on the 1st some saw it upstairs. crazy shit huh?

People are easily persuaded and duped. I'm sure the construction crews were mostly made up of foreigners. Spanish, islanders and most people from poor countries all believe in that nonsense. When one thinks he saw something, they all think they saw something. A twelve year old girl died on a plantation in the 1850's? A lot people died on plantations in the 1850's. But this little girl has decided to stick around. Please. Your story is all hearsay and handed down. It didn't happen, it wouldn't happen. Your friends saw it? When? What were they doing? What time of day? Did they know the story beforehand? I'd bet they did. And I bet claiming to see something they didn't all gave them a nice little scare chill and laugh.
Your dad's house is not haunted.

The power of suggestion is very... um... powerful.
There usually is a very simple explaination for all things supernatural.
If they had heard that story, they were already set up to be scared and to be looking for signs of anything supernatural. When that happens, things you see out of the corner of your eye, or something that you glance quickly at, become ghosts or visions... If you tell someone you might've seen something creepy, and then they tell someone, all of a sudden everyone's seeing things.
However... I don't know definitively that energies can't live on when the body dies. I'm a skeptic at heart, but I can't rule it out completely.

With your friends, that's what I thought. The construction guys? I'd bet they were Dominican or African. Immigrants. More likely to believe in that stuff. Nevertheless, their story is bullshit.
You won't be haunting anyone. When you die, the light goes off. Blank. Nothing. Only the feeling of falling backwards in the dark for all eternity.
