Ok, I am not going to go barreling into everyone for their opinions. You all are entitled to that, it is hard to make a proper decision when you dont know everything. So it easy to call her "entitled" or a "brat"...

Ashley was quite upset with what has happened with this whole internship. The fact of that matter was that she was a lil upset when she got into studio as well, Earl has been avoiding her for over a year and a half. I am not going to speak entirely for her here. All she wanted was for Earl to tell her what the hell happened with the internship. She was told two different things. She was upset...

Did she come across as "entitled"?? Hey, everyone sees everything differently.

I agree with Heather8 and Matty .... she does sound entitled and she should have had her cell/email on call at all times if she is serious about being in the running for the internship.

Actually she checked it very regularly after she interviewed, she was never contacted by Earl till months later and after her constant inquiries to him. Plain and simple...

He either fucked up, or rejected her, and won't admit it.

Fair enough. I just do what people normally do in a listening thread, comment along as things go. I don't have background on most of the stuff that goes on on-and-off-air (and kinda glad I don't), but what I post is the impression that I get from that particular moment.

I understand where you are coming from there, but I know the situation and most of the facts with the case. Was she upset she didnt get the call from Ron and Fez?? Sure. Did she move on after it?? Yes.

It wasnt till Ron asked her why she didnt intern with them that all the facts came out from their side. So you can imagine she was very upset, and wanted to confront Earl.

I have to be honest, the comments in this thread kind of surprised me... I never really expected to have come off sounding "entitled" or as a "brat," as some of you have stated. I suppose you are the ones entitled to your opinions, as you are coming into the middle of a battle that has been going on for a little while.

Regardless, I would like dispel some of the notions stated herein. The reason for my appearance on the show today was not out of a sense of entitlement. I would never be so bold as to think I am any better, or more worthy, of an internship as, say, Lily. My appearance was merely out of frustration. After having been jerked around for months on end, to find out that I was only being lied to... Yeah, it stings a little bit. I guess that's all I was trying to say.

Anyway, I guess I shouldn't care what the messageboard reads, but I am considering this message as a diplomatic posting.

I missed most of the segment when you were on, but it sucks that as always "earl fucks up".

All i heard on air was earl getting loud and defensive as always. I think you should have an opportunity to kick him in the nuts if you cant intern. Just my opinion. :smile:

I really wish XM would transfer Earl somewhere else in the company - it would allow me to enjoy Ron & Fez much better.
