This thread is a place to post that weird thing you saw that you're pretty sure you did see, but it was so weird and so oddly out of place you can't exactly be sure.
For me, it happened today at the grocery store. I'm walking down the cereal aisle, minding my own business, and I look over. There's a guy on the other side of the aisle, going the other way. He has on a sleeveless T. And because of this, I can see that he has a tattoo of a SWASTIKA on his arm. I looked twice, as carefully as possible. I didn't want to ask the guy "Excuse me, sir, but is that a swastika tattoo on your arm?" because I get the feeling you don't really wanna fuck with a dude who'd blithely walk around showing his swastika tat. And I did kind of think, "Well, maybe it was something else", but I'm pretty goddam sure it was a fucking swastika.
So your lesson for the day is this: neo-Nazis need groceries too.

I live in a complex with a lot of Asian Indians, and apparently, the swastika means peace and love as well. One dude had multiple swastikas painted on the inside of his dash.

I was visiting Myrtle Beach about 5 years ago & was standing on line in a CVS (I think) behind a local in a wife-beater t & ripped jeans, shaved head, and shit-kicker boots. Did I mention it was about 98 degrees? Anyway, he had plenty of tats, but it wasn't until I was in line behind him that I realized the ones on his triceps spelled out WHITE (on the left tri) & POWER (on the right one) in old English lettering.
I did a double-take because I couldn't quite believe it at first. But after passing a breakfast establishment called "Tar Babies" that morning & seeing about a dozen cars adorned in some way with the rebel flag in just over 12 hours in the area, I realized that the negative stereotypes about certain areas of the South weren't just a goof. It's actually a little scary to think that type of attitude still exists in this country.

Well, I will say this too: it was a pretty crude swastika, which kind of led me to believe that it was a prison tat, not one you'd get in a real tattoo shop. I'm not sure if this makes it any better or not. Probably not.

I'll add something weird, although I think this has already turned into the White Power thread.
Last Saturday, me and my chick were out taking the dogs on a long walk and on the way home I looked back before crossing a busy street and saw, about a block behind us, a hearse that.. apparently... lost it's cargo. It was stopped in the middle of an intersection with the back door open and the driver jumped out and got a gurney-looking thing that had rolled out when he hit the gas. From where I was it looked like it might have just been a gurney, not a casket, but still. It was right out of a hidden camera sketch, but from all I could see it really happened.

Similar thing, my family and I were at the indoor water park at West Edmonton Mall a couple of years ago, and this big muscle head is walking around with a big fucking swastika on his arm. It was NOT a prison tat, it was a tat he must have paid close to a grand for, cause it was huge, and very high quality. And he was there with his wife and 2 little kids. Makes me shake my head - not only are these people actually walking around, they are breeding.
And BTW, there is no other kind of Indian besides an Asian Indian - unless there is another India somewhere I dont know about?

There's a house about a mile from me that has swastikas all over it, like around the window molding and the molding along the top of the house. I think most of the houses in that neighborhood are pre WWII, so I'm guessing they aren't Nazi swastikas. Still... It's a weird thing to see.

On the flip side of the swastika, about 14 years ago I was on the PATH train going to work when I saw an old man. He had his arm resting on the "stee armrest" since he was in the last seat of the row. On his arm were numbers. He saw me look at them and he quickly pushed his sleeve over his arm and got off at 14th Street. I also got off at 14th Street but I couldn't find him to apologize. For what, I don't know but I will NEVER forget the look of shame on his face.

Those were the addresses of people on 14th Street that he was about to murder. Way to intervene and stop it.

My Mother has a piece of pottery with a swastika on it. While growing up she always had the swastiska turned around. She tells me it is an old piece of pottery that is Native American in origin. I will admit it is a pretty piece of pottery, but that symbol is pretty heave and carries a lot of emotion.
Then I looked up swastiska on wikipedia and found the following team picture from long long ago, I guess about the same time period as the pottery.

When the time comes I hope she doesn't leave that piece of pottery to me.

They were probably concentration camp numbers. My wife's Uncle had them on his arm.

They need Wal-Marts too. About a year ago I saw a guy dragging his wife through a Wal-Mart, really angry and in a hurry. He had an Iron Cross tattooed over his adams apple and swastikas on both his arms. He was wearing a sleeveless shirt too. I forget what else he had, those tats were big (the cross was so big it took up his whole neck) they just screamed "look at me!"
I have mixed kids, so I kept the family away from those two. Any type of interaction with the mood this guy seemed to be in would probably have ended badly.

Nope, not being silly. Indians are from India. Native Americans are NOT Indians. One day Americans will get the fact that calling someone an Indian (who is not from India) is similar to calling someone "chink" or "nigger" or "Wet Back".
Not nice.

I would agree, if so many of them didn't call THEMSELVES (http://www.ncai.org/National_Indian_Organizations.190.0.html) Indians. They aren't really Native Americans either, since there was no such thing of "America" before white people got here.

No, it's not. It's not even close.
Calling them Redskins might be close, but calling them Indians isn't.
