I watched "Strange Wilderness" last night

i know the movie was terrible and the plot was horrible...it was about a bunch of losers trying to find bigfoot to save their wildlife park

but it was hilarious...i was crying, i wanted to hate the movie but it was so damn funny (like stupid funny)

another is "not another teen movie" it wasnt good at all but there are actually some brilliant throwaway lines in that that most people dont notice

I don't know if this is horribly great, or so horrible you can't turn away.

I recently for Mother's Day got a box set of 150 C and D horror and thriller movies. We watched one of the movies in there last weekend called Manos: The Hands of Fate. It was SO bad, I had to go on IMDb and Wikipedia just to see if I could find out more about it.

What I found out was that this was the movie they showed for the MST3K Season 4 Finale, and this movie was so bad that a) they apologized for showing and b) this was the film that they based the badness of all other films.

I cannot wait to watch it again with a bunch of drunk friends MST3K style.

This may be one of the worst movies I've ever seen, but It's so fucking bizarre and misguided that I can't turn it off when it's on.

Come on -- the Bee Gees and Peter Frampton as the leads who don't have a single word of dialogue. The look is so dated as the late 70s. Also Steve Martin, George Burns, Alice Cooper, Aerosmith, Earth Wind and Fire are in the cast and all have musical numbers. Also, it has a plot that can be summarized as follows - instruments get stolen, instruments get retrieved one by one, instruments stolen again, girlfriend dies in process of retrieval, girlfriend comes back to life because Bill Preston sings "Get Back".

It's like an even more misguided version of the movie "Tommy".

Fucking awful, but an absolutely glorious train wreck.

I have to watch it every time it's on and I still have my worn VHS copy....soooooooooooo cheesy and bad, but so good.

I was going to post that, but the more I thought about it the more I thought it was simply a great movie. It's my favorite John Carpenter film, and it's still surprisingly relevant. It does have the most horribly great fight scene of all time, though.

Flash Gordon.

Sam Jones was horrible as flash, and Ornella Muti was unintelligible as Aura, but the movie is saved by the pure awesome of the finale and Brian Blessed.
