I found him amusing years ago before he bacame a larger name. When TBS continuously played the FrankTV ads at nauseum, I gave up.

He does a few impressions... a couple of them are ok... but others are hacky.

I heard him on the radio once doing Charles Barkley ... it was a good impression, but he's not very good at improving lines. After he churned out a few Barkley quotes, he couldn't riff with the hosts all that well. I've never seen his show and his commercials drive me nuts.

I heard some O+A from the WNEW days on XM a couple of days ago and he was there just randomly doing madden saying something, he wasn't even working it into the topic (I think R. Lee Ermey was being interviewed). It was just bad.

I saw him live a few months ago. He's still doing the same act from 2002. Madden, Pacino, Deniro, Bush and Robin Williams' one man Wizard of Oz.

The worst is the commercial for TBS where he was in-character as George Bush- but not dressed or made up like him, and introduced in the commercial as Frank Caliendo. So in the world of this commercial, Frank Caliendo is a fat man in a bowling shirt who inexplicably talks like George Bush. Insanity.
