I missed most of yesterday's show (caught a few minutes of the replay and was shocked to hear Dice in the studio) but today when Opie and Jimmy were talking about it and Opie saying he wasn't doing his "angry radio guy" bit it hit me. I love O+A (Jimmy is just too damn funny!) but one of the reasons I like Ron and Fez more is because they're more laid back. Today's O+A was much more like a R+F style show and I liked it.
Good to hear that the issues some of the guys had with Dice were at least being discussed if not resolved life's too short to carry a grudge.

Oh and Colin was great again and Jimmy was like a kid with a new toy on Christmas morning with the board. Freaking hilarious.

Today's O+A was much more like a R+F style show and I liked it.

I thought about this also, and agree with you 100%. Anthony is great, but it was a lot more chill and allowed Opie to get more mic time. It's a more serious and talkative show.

Not saying I don't like Anthony, but I did enjoy the change of pace a lot.

I disagree a bit with this comment. Ron has always said that the XM listeners are owed more because they pay for the service. R&F have been doing alot of prerecorded shows lately when they know they're going to be off on another day that week. That means they're doing six hours on those days, and they are still putting in their workday when they tape an unmasked show (I know it's mainly Ron doing the heavy lifting, but they all have a hand in it in some way). On the other hand, occasionally Opie acts like the entire XM side is bonus material, even though we are paying for that portion of the show. Having said that, I do agree that if they take a half day once in a while it's not a big deal, especially when they've done some extra duty like they did this week.

1. they gave you almost an extra hour the day before
2. as friday stated jimmy was up late doing the HBO thing the night before and had to do it again that day
3. its opies birthday
4. you're bitching about how they didnt let you know and your bitching about how they did let you know... by saying "see you on tuesday" and they didnt say see that they were heading over to XM...like they normally do, they did let you know
