HYANNIS, Mass. -- Sen. Edward M. Kennedy was rushed by ambulance to Cape Cod Hospital after falling ill at the Kennedy compound in Hyannisport, The Cape Cod Times reported Saturday.
Hyannis fire responded to the compound after a call was made around 8:30 a.m., the newspaper reported on its Web site. It's unclear what Kennedy's medical condition is, but after he spent almost two hours in the emergency room a decision was made to transfer him to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
CNN quoted a source as saying that Kennedy was suffering from "stroke-like symptoms."
Kennedy, 76, was placed on a stretcher and wheeled out to the MedFlight helicopter around 10:15 a.m. where it took off from Barnstable Municipal Airport, the newspaper reported.
Best of luck, lardass.
Have fun burning in hell.

He'll still get re-elected.
And I never get the "-like symptoms". Sports players always miss games for "flu-like symptoms" or "concussion-like symptoms". Isn't that just the flu or a concussion?
Ehhhhh....it's nothing. He's like Bender from Futurama...if he goes a couple hours with out liquor, his insides rust.
They'll IV him some booze and he'll be as good as new.

Ted's giant head would not fit into the hospital so he was instead airlifted to a vets office that specializes in large animals.
hoo hoo Im ripping off oneeyedjack.

Revenge of the Clintons
It's good to see he got medical attention quicker than Mary Jo Kopechne did.

Have you ever been to a hospital emergency room? Even if it's not busy, you can still plan on being there for six to nine hours before they move you to a room.
He's in and transfered within 2 hours? I bet the average Bostonian doesn't get service like that.

Brain tumors are so scary.
I don't wish a brain tumor upon anyone. Here is to Uncle Teddy getting healthy!

Didn't Arlen Spector have a brain tumor too?
My contempt for the Kennedys, and Ted in particular, is great but I don't wish this on him. It's not a good way to go.

Yeah, my dad had one. The doctors said he was born with it. It just happened to grow when he got older.

I don't like the guy much and would love to see him retire from the Senate but I hate to see anybody get diagnosed with a brain tumor. I do still hope that he retires from office at least temporarily to spend time with his family while he can. You never know how these things will turn out and he can always run for Senate again later.
There really is no reason to be a dick about it.

apparently Ted Kennedy has a cancerous brain tumor. which caused the seizures that he was admitted to the hospital for. This has to really suck!!!! I'd attach the article, but I'm not that computer savy.
