i had it last year around the same time as now
my wife just got it last week and is still dealing with it
one of my eyes is starting to look like it's getting it
question is is it safe to use the drops i had from last year as kinda like a preventative measure ??

It would be safe but hardly effective if it is past the expiration date, best just re-up your prescription with your physician.

If I were you I would call your Dr.'s office and ask a nurse...or find Dr. Steve if he's around.

The drops typically only treat the symptoms in the first place. Although, there are 2 types of conjuntavitis.
I seriously doubt that they can do anything preventative, even if they have not expired.

When I have had the early stages of pinkeye, I have had good results swabbing out the lower eyelid with a VERY WEAK Hydrogen Peroxide/water solution.

It's most important for the person who has it to not mess with their eye and to WASH THEIR HANDS as often as possible.

It'll get better quicker if you pee in your eye when you showerrrr..No wait, that might be athletes foot. Forget it. Hope you feel better.
