One Song...

Here's a thread idea:

You have to name ONE SONG that you have tied to a specific person. Can be a significant other, family member, etc. It's not YOUR song, but it's a song to YOU that ties you to one person. Like, every time you hear it, you think of one person, one experience.

The one song I have is "I Will Follow" by U2 for my wife.

Reasoning: It was a song I remember being played the first night Liz and I met, and also cemented the idea I was going to propose to her when I heard it again on March 17, 2006.

I've been with my wife for 8 years; for the first 6 years I pushed her to leaving, or very close to leaving probably 9-10 times.

I was an ass to her, now when I hear that song I think of my wife and shake my head at the dummy I was.

Got into an awful screaming match with an ex over this song and how god-awful it is. Can not hear that song without thinking of her.

My friend Pletcher was drunk driving in his Jeep with the top down, singing along the cd single Madonna's "Hung Up" four or five times in a row while we tried to get him to pull over. He couldn't hear us over the Madonna, and was all smiles... Months later it came on in the store while I was buying clothes for his funeral.
