INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Two IndyCar drivers are being checked out after two separate accidents at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. They happened within minutes of each other during a practice session Friday afternoon.

Rookie driver #16 Alex Lloyd lost control and hit the wall coming out of Turn 1. He was removed from the car and put on a stretcher. He was taken to the Clarian Emergency Medical Center at IMS, no word yet on his condition.

Minutes earlier, Rookie driver #96 Mario Dominguez was coming off of pit road when he spun out and hit a wall.

He was able to get out of the car on his own. Doctors are checking him out.
