Mine was 19..I had a job I loved a beautiful girlfriend and could screw all night...Maybe I still have my best years in front of me, but as it stands right now I wish I was 19 again..How about you? Do you wish you wore a younger man's clothes or has your best year not even happened yet?

jan 29 89 the day MELINDA was born:wub:
Much like Mr. rotn, when I was 19 I had an incredible time. Life was a party and there was a seemingly endless supply of booze, broads, and good natured debauchery.
By contrast, last year was the classic "best of times, worst of times" scenario where I literally experienced the highest of highs and lowest of lows. Maybe it's because I'm a little older and wiser, maybe it's because it's so fresh in my mind, or maybe it's because there were such stark contrasts, but in an odd way I think 2007 will probably go down as a positive in my book.
And I certainly hope the best is yet to come.

I will say this year. I am going to turn thirty, I sold my house (haha owners), got my dream job, and will be looking for a new chick. Single with cash and an awesome job. Now thats a fucking good year. Oh and the Rangers just fucking lost. Best Year Ever

I'm not sure... I'm 27 now;
22 - My wife gave birth to twins, and we got married.
24 - My wife gave birth to my baby girl.
27 - I finally learned how to appreciate and love my wife how she deserves and how I should have all along.
I don't know If I can pin point a specific age as being my best.

I have to believe in this.
I have had some really good times, but I am positive the best is the here and now.... and the tomorrow that will be influenced by a brilliant Today.

2008 is not over yet so I can't say it's the best year ever but it's shaping up to be. Other than that I would say my 7th grade year was the best. I french kissed four different girls that year. That was also the only year I can remember that I was in style with my clothes because that was a huge deal to me back then. I had a pair of Reebok Pumps, a hooded Starter jacket and 3 pairs of skidz overalls.

1995 was pretty damn good, but I'm still waiting for the best.

If one of these last 30 years was supposed to be better than the others I'd like to return them all.

Do we just say "I know my best years are still ahead of me" because we don't want to believe we could have already experienced our best years. I personally know nothing could beat my 5 years in college.

2007 was the best and worst year ever for me also. My sister got engaged and married, I bought a house and am living on my own for the first time ever, I had been given a new territory in my job that I perceived was going to be the best one ever, I got a new car... but I also suffered from the worst depression of my life... possibly a quarter-life crisis, possibly a bad-reaction to all the pressure that came along with those positive things. I'd like to remember 2007 for all the good things, but I can't help but cringe whenever I think about it.
I'm working really hard toward making 2008 the best year.

19 was probably my best year. I finally found my groove at college, made some good friends, did well in classes. That summer my best friend and I got to run his uncles landscaping business. I was in awesome shape, tan, and making what at the time was awesome money.
i would take that money, gamble it. and usually win a lot. i had enough money to bank a few k, but a motorcycle, and pay all my bills for the summer. it was awesome.
not to mention i was single and loving it. And I got my 1st fake ID that summer. good times.

I just live in and for the present, with some regard to the future. The past is of no value to me beyond remembering (and missing) people who are no longer alive and the educational purposes of looking into the past.
If I go on further than that with thinking about my past, I just get nostalgic. And nostalgia, as a great man once said, is nothing more than mental masturbation.
