It'll be a nice day for a $9 boat ride.

How the hell is the ferry still in business?

I don't take the ferry often, so it's no big deal. Is that for one way, not round trip? That is a lot.

Path sucks. The Path always sucked, and it will continue to suck in the future.

Ferry ride is $7.25. Not bad. I watched the lines get very long and people started creating their own, following one asshole to the next. There was yelling and arguments.

Humans in groups are stupid sheep. I saw the same thing down at the Ferry during the blackout. I just back out and let them hurt themselves. I don't understand how some people lived as long as they have acting that way towards others.

PATH is the way to go, I'm into work in 20-25 minutes everyday. No traffic.

its so true. We took the PATH from WTC last night and it was packed. People were complaining, yelling at the workers, etc. Its incredible how quickly some people can be flustered by having routines broken.

Rush Hour Problems In Store for PATH Riders

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) -- A smoky manhole fire that damaged power cables in Manhattan has disrupted PATH service.

The Port Authority says service will be suspended from Journal Square station in Jersey City to 33rd Street, and from Hoboken to 33rd Street, through the evening rush.

Click here for PATH service updates.

PATH stations at 33rd, 23rd, 14th, 9th, and Christopher streets will be closed this evening.

Service has resumed from Hoboken to the World Trade Center station, where additional service will be added. PATH trains are operating normally from Newark to the World Trade Center station.

Trains will also be running between Journal Square and Hoboken stations.

NJ Transit is cross-honoring PATH tickets at New York and Newark Penn Station.

After the mayhem at the river last time - looks like WTC is the way to go today. It'll still be bad though. There's little difference between a human crowd and a flustered flock of sheep.

Hottest day of the year too.

Great.

Ahhh... that PATH smell, nothing like it.

people who do not take the PATH in the summer from Newark to 33rd street have no idea how fucking disgusting it can get, especially at rush our after work. the smells are horrible, and people are PACKED into the trains. it is one of the worst experiences ever.
