Presents on Xmas Eve or Xmas Day???

Never did the Christmas Eve thing. It was always Christmas Day for me.

Well back in the days when my grandmother was still alive we would open one gift each on Christmas Eve then head over to my Aunt's house and celebrate with her and my cousins...then Christmas Day was just for me, my mom and my grandma. Then my mom would allow my dad to come by with his gifts but he was never allowed to bring my stepmom so I'd have a seperate Christmas with her like a week later. Then my grandmother died and the entire side of my family that belongs to my mom hates one another now so we do nothing for either lol. In fact last year I got my gifts from my mom some time in mid to late January...as for my dad,...well he still has my gifts from last year haha

it used to be both for me. used to have a big xmas dinner and just got really drunk and opened up a ton of presents and then the next day was day 2 of presents. this year it's just xmas day

Its all about Christmas day at the Lowden House. That was you get maximum playing time! Plus when you get dragged around to your relatives houses to spend "family" time together you have something to entertain yourself with.

Christmas day when I was young. But after i learned the bitter truth about Santa, we switched to Christmas Eve. We'd go to midnight mass and then open up the gifts.

We always opened one each on Christmas eve, then opened everything else on Christmas. Then as we got older, and the gifts got fewer, we switched to opening only on Christmas.

Usually we open gifts from relatives because my aunt always held the Christmas Eve ritual dinner. Then after Midnight Mass we would usually open up one gift at my house, then the rest the next morning. It was really no big deal because I'm the only child. When I was younger it was strictly just opening up presents Christmas morning. I can't wait for Christmas!!! My favorite holiday!
