Tickets go on sale tomorrow at 12 noon. Ticketmaster.

Wilco at McCarren Park Pool, Brooklyn. Wed, 08/13/08 6:30pm.

It shouldn't be too hard to get a ticket to this show. I saw Gov't Mule (Mule At The Pool!) there two summers ago and the place is ginormous.

Tickets for The Grand Opera House, here in Wilmington, also go on sale tomorrow. I can't wait. The venue is 15 minutes from my house. My budday is/was an employee of the Grand, he's been out due to surgery. He said he may be able to walk us in the back door. If I get to meet Tweedy...shiiiiiiit.

It's an awesome venue. I saw Bright Eyes there a few month ago.

:furious:

Well, I was busy and missed the 12 noon start and didn't get to ticketmaster in time. Sold out. It's gotta be the scalpers. Their programs ate up all the tickets. This place is HUGE...

So I had to go to Stubhub. M'fers. Tickets now cost around DOUBLE.

Every man for himself. It better not rain that day.

the venue is big, but i think for show capacity, it's comparable to roseland or hammerstein ... they were able to sellout two radio city dates & fill up the garden on new year's eve

the days of seeing this band at irving plaza or the bowery ballroom are over ... but there's probably a really good chance of getting an extra ticket day of show

Have a great time. I saw them this winter during the first half of the tour and they were nothing sort of excellent. Have no fear...the new material blends in perfectly into their set.

i'm not too crazy about the newer stuff, and the lack of the bar-band vibe disappoints ... but come the day of show, i might have to scalp

I tried to get tickets to The Grand here in DE. Of course, there were no online sales.

From 10 to 11:30 I was on the phone. Send. Busy signal. End. Send. Busy signal. End. Send. Busy signal. End. Never got through. I missed over an hour and a half of work for nothing.

I saw them last summer here in NYC...and many times before that.

The one last year...one of the best concerts I have ever experienced...Period.

I shit the bed when these went on sale. I checked a few hours after it started and it was sold out.

And they're going on stub hub and craig's list for alot of money. I wish I had just remembered to go online and get tickets for my favorite band of all time!!!

Anyone going?

Isolated T-Storms ain't nuttin' to worry about...

It'll just make it more interesting. A chance to see a Brooklyn hipster on fire...I'd pay double for that!

I'll be there with a sub-five foot friend. I might have to put her on my shoulders.

I just saw them last night at Tanglewood. Excellent Show. They had a three person horn section and the lead guitarist is outstanding.

They only brought out horns 1 time that I've seen and it was magic. I loved it, hope to see it again.

"I'm the Man Who Loves You" with the horn section was easily one of the highlights last night. It's a shame they don't have more concerts with the horns. Hopefully they will bring them along for the rest of the tour. My only disappointment was Fleet Foxes didn't open last night. I think they are scheduled to open for most of the West Coast gigs.

They had tickets for sale at the door. Sorry to you all who didn't get to go...

It was EASILY the BEST Wilco show I have been to yet.

From the weather last night, to the surprisingly lively Brooklyn crowd, to the "Total Pros" horn section, to the band, that was just ON FIRE, to the excellent selection of Brooklyn Beer and the venue...which is the best use of space in an urban setting...FANTASTIC.

27 Songs. If you were there...then consider yourself blessed. Awesome sound and great lights.

What JerseyRich said.... excellent show. Loved it.

to the excellent selection of Brooklyn Beer

My only problem with the night... the long beer lines. After standing in one for almost 20 minutes I get up to the server and I get, "We just ran out... don't know when we're restocking." Wait, wait, wait... went to a keg line. Wasted an easy 40 minutes.

But at least I could watch the show in line.

Williamsburg is one happening neighborhood too. I liked walking around that area.
