I know times are tough, but I find it almost impossible to believe that someone can't afford 8 bucks a month for an internet subscription or 13 bucks a month for an XM radio sub that includes internet access.

I think if your a big fan of radio, XM is a bargain.Personally I would say cable tv is a ripoff.I wouldn't even have cable if it wasnt for my girl.I would much rather listen to radio than watch tv.
Radio listening:14 hours per day.
TV veiwing:8 hours a week.
