I want to know what you guys do. Night before/morning of. Or whatever.

I have been on days for over a year and still dont have a routine.

Also how to you get UP OUT of bed. I wake up but the getting out part just takes about 15 minutes.

I don't have a nightly routine as far as setting up for the morning goes. I set two alarms, my regular alarm clock goes off when I would like to get up 4:55 AM ... I also set my cell phone to go off at the latest I need to get up to be on time for the train 5:10 AM. Basically when I hear the phone go off, I know I need to get my ass out of bed. Since I ride the train, I try not to wake up too much so I can get a little extra sleep on the way in. If it's nice out I will walk around midtown to help wake me up fully. That's my wake up routine.

Get one of these. Set the wakeup alarm on it with "raise" on Max and when it's time to wake up it'll dump you on the floor like a dumptruck.

I suck

I go to sleep at different hours and am up all night if I have a Hiatal Hernia /Acid Reflux attack

I usually wake up then take an extra 15-30 minutes in actually getting up

When I diet, and dont gorge, I sleep like a baby, went to bed at 11:30, earliest time in along time, woke up today and feel like a million bucks

I work three days a week that change depending on my class schedule each semester.

I take my showers the night before so that i can sleep longer in the mornings but i always have to be in bed by 12am to get up at 7am. I have to leave the house between 7:30 and 7:50.

I wear the same clothes to work those three days because:

1.) it's an office.
2.) i really don't give a crap what i wear.
3.) it saves me time from having to pick out an outfit which means i get to sleep more.

I hope you find time to brush your teeth in that span of time!

HA, yes ... I meant that the latest I can get out of bed in order to shower, shave, brush teeth, put in contacts, get dressed, feed cat, pack up laptop, then drive to the train station is 5:10 AM. I take the 6:04 train in.

i have three month old that's really altered any routine

i usually go to bed around two, and hopefully wake up between 8-8:30 and i'm out of the house by 9:00

if i'm lucky, i can get a cup of coffee before i go ... but no more in the papers with pat kiernan and sportscenter's top 10 plays for me

I make an effort to shower at night, sometimes laying out my clothes the night before (socks, underwear, shirt & pants) sometimes not (which makes very little difference, seeing as how I wear a t-shirt & jeans every day.) Sometimes I shower in the morning, which is typically on days I either don't have to wash my hair or don't have to stop for gas on the way into the office.

I try really hard to go to bed at the same time every night. Which means I'm in bed, ready to sleep, by 9:30pm because I need a full 8-hours of sleep every night.

My alarm goes off at 5:45am (well, my clock reads "6:00" but it's 15 minutes fast); lately, I've been waking up long before it goes off, so I switch it off, turn on my light and go back to sleep for another 10-20 minutes before getting out of bed.

If I sleep until the alarm buzzes, which is rare, I switch off the alarm, turn on my light and snooze another 10 minutes before getting up, dressed and out the door.

All by 6:30am. Really. The latest I've left the house in the past 3 months has been 6:40am.

I hate it, but I'm so conditioned to it now (been at the job 7+ years) that I have no trouble whatsoever getting out in the morning. (I whine about it, but that's not "trouble" it's whining.)

I currently work 2:30p-11:00p. I generally go to bed around 4-5am. Come this summer my hours change to 6a-2:30p for two months.

THAT WILL SUCK!!
