I have the Myfi and I keep it docked on the Altec Lansing 3020. Last week ANTENNA appeared on the pad data. I took the MYfi off the dock and the pad data was normal. I used it in the car and it was fine. I put it back in the dock and ANTENNA appeared. I ordered a new dock. I just got it today. I hooked it up and put the Myfi into the cradle. I still get ANTENNA. Would anybody know what's going on with it? Thanks!

Maybe an old fashioned boombox or walkman with a regaular antenna is trying to reassert itself, a la Vger from the first Star Trek movie.

No antenna on the roof. Just got Fios. Moved the antenna from the back room facing south into the kitchen on the window facing south. Which is on room away. Nothing.

It sounds to me like it is your myfi's connection. I had the same problem with my skyfi. I don't know the technicalities, but I think that when you dock in the car and when you dock at home there are different pins in the connector that are used. The pins for that are used for your dock are probably worn out.

Again I do not know the technicalities, just my own experience.

Are you using the same antenna in the new home dock that you used for the old home dock?

When using it portably, does the internal antenna work fine?

When in the car cradle, do you use a vehicle antenna or are you using the internal antenna?

And it's not a "No Signal" message, that is different then an "Antenna" message. No Signal just means your not getting any service, Antenna implies a hardware issue.

Why do I even have to troubleshoot when I get home after a 9 hour day?

I'm using the new antenna that came with the dock. I only get ANTENNA on it. In the car I use the old cradle which works fine. It also works when I use it as a portable.

I think it's a design flaw in the MyFi if you switch it between home and car cradles a lot, the connectors on the MyFi get stretched out. Mine shit the bed after a year and a half, replaced it with a refurbished one, same thing hapenned. Inno has been fine since I got it about a year ago

I'm thinking about getting the Inno. Which Inno did you purchase? 1 or 2?

The only difference between the Inno1 and the Inno2 is the strength of the FM Modulator. The Inno2 has the powered down modulator so you would have to use either the Sureconnect or the FM Direct Adapter.

I have 2, but I use the aux input anyway.
