I'm surprised he didn't freak out more...

I am surprised there was not a pile of shit and a puddle in a corner, unless that was what he was doing by cracking the door every so often.

I'm terrified of elevators and avoid them whenever I can.

I especially hate the ones at work because they squeak and wobble.

Oh, and my former boss got stuck in one of them about 6 years ago. It wasn't for all that long, and the Fire Department came to get her rather quickly, but hearing that she'd been "stuck" in the elevator creeped me out.

p.s. - I could only watch that video for a couple of seconds.

I love the moment he takes account of all of his possessions while sitting on the floor.

I'd be okay but, I'd be real sad when my phone ran out of batteries.

first, great job by security not noticing someone in an elevator overnight, when all the others showed up black. 2nd, it went to the lobby sometime in the 40th hours so he could have opened the door for about an hour before he did so.

I wouldn't last long.. I don't get reception in an elevator.. but I do in the tunnel in Maryland, go figure.

With other people? I'd lose it in minutes.

Fancy meeting you here! (http://www.ananova.com/news/story/sm_2814298.html?menu=)

A German man survived a 25ft plunge down a lift shaft when he landed on a woman who had fallen down it a day before.

My fear is getting stuck in an elevator when I have to take a dump.

A couple of years ago this happened in the building I work in. An office worker form another company below us was trapped in the elevator for 2 hours, couldn't hold it and YES; shit in the corner. There were only a few of us in the lobby when the elevator was made operable again and returned to the first floor. I don't know what was more horrifying:
Seeing the shit
Smelling the shit
or
Seeing the look on his face when he saw the looks of horror on our faces.

It was awesome and terrible at the same time.
Post Script - He quit sometime soon after. (true story)

That was my first thought! I don't think I could handle it. I'm too frequent a urinator for this, and the shame of squatting to pee in an elevator would freaking kill me. Then again, those assholes are the ones who left me trapped. Maybe they deserve to replace the carpeting in their stupid elevator!

I mostly take the stairs, not that I often go in tall buildings anyway.
