I have been with Nextel/Sprint for many years. The coverage in my area is near flawless.
My problem is, I picked up a blackberry and need the super duper data plan.
They offer the unlimited data plan for a decent price.
Problem is I have 2 other phones on my plan. We do "shared minutes" for all 3 (with a text message add-on) and it works out great. Around 100 bucks a month for 3 phones.
If I switch to a data contract, they don't offer a family plan. It's all or nothing. It would now cost me over $200 dollars for a plan that 2 of the phones can't even use! My wife and kid need phone only.
Any suggestions?

I only use Verizon because it consistently gets the best service and coverage reviews, so I don't know what plans Sprint/Nextel use, but I know Verizon has comperable plans.

If I'm not mistaken, T-Mobile will let you add their unlimited data to any plan for $20.00. My family plan w/1000 shared minutes is $70.00, an additional line is $10.00, so you're looking at $100.00 for 3 phones and data. I don't know how their coverage is for you, but I've been extremely happy with T-Mobile.
