On BBC America is a show called "You are what you eat". It is a brutally rough show
where this awfully blunt woman berates these British fatties. The voiceover guy continually calls the people fat or tubby or flabby etc...The show does a good job talking about proper nutrition but the cruelity factor is much higher than our weight loss shows. I'ts one of my new favorites.

The best part of the show is when they have all the food the person ate for a week laid out on a table. Craziness!

The most annoying part of the show is when they call chips crisps.

If this catchy slogan is true, then:

97% of America = shit

Ooooh, I love the Amish...took a trip to Booth's Corner in Boothwyn, PA a couple weekends back where they peddle all their wares (actually, I think the people there are Menonites, but I'm not 100% sure).

Great stuff.

any food made from scratch is gonna be good.
The amount of processed foods that these British fatties are eating is ridiculous. It certainly mirrors what problems we have with processed sugars, trans fats, scrapple.

didn't the Menonites cause the lite-brite terror scare in Boston last year? I, for one, refuse to eat terrorist pot pie!

in other news, i am now a bowl of Breyer's vanilla ice cream.

angry little menonites always giving the 1 pixel salute, and shooting there big slow blocky guns.

I dated a girl (hellcat really) from Lancaster PA. for a while and saw a lot of Amish/Mennonites. They certainely sneak around there various no electricty rules as best they can. Amish that is the Mennonites are a little more modern. A drunk 21 yr. old Amish kid in a bar is a dangerous thing. They don't hold there liquor well and since they work all day on the farm are pretty damn strong.
