I'm trying to put together a NYC pub crawl w/ some coworkers and I was wondering if there was a resource that I could use.

Obvioulsy there are 100s of bars in NYC but I wanna keep eveything within walking distance and while I have no problems hitting a few dives I'd like to keep a nice balance.

Any suggestions ? Anybody know of any links out there that provide a mapping of possible spots ?

I like yelp.com (http://yelp.com) for that. You can put in an address, choose your search radius (1mile, 10 blocks, 4 blocks) and then narrow down the categories.

Not really a resource, but an idea -- the bars on 2nd Avenue on the Upper East Side have been hurting for business because of the 2nd Avenue subway line construction. If you approached a number of the bars, I'm sure they would be happy to accomodate a bar crawl, and offer specials, etc. Anyone who went to Dave and Casey's baby shower can attest to the fact that the bar we chose is a great bar, and their late night business has dried up. If you are interested, I have some contacts I can pass on.

mapfaced.com is a private site that you have to register for, but it is exactly what you're looking for.
