i had this blind date this morning.. her name is Daniela and she is really cute.. whe met at this resturant and i was like wow.. she is so out of my league.. well we went in, ordered lunch and like stared. i couldnt think of anything to say.. so i talked about the town (she just moved in) and about shopping... but there i am in my jeans,tee shirt and beat up hoodie and shes all dolled up. tipped nails and all.. i felt so blah in comparison.. well anyway we drudged through convo. and i took up the tab (feeling like the butch and all) i held the door for her.. i dont know i think im just used to low maintance chicks like me.. wel as we were leaving she gave me a solid hug and said she'd be in touch.... should i hold my breath? id love to see her again because first dates are often akward and im really shy when i first meet someone... but im so not sure what the after first date contact rules are.

The rules are, well, there aren't any rules. There is a general guidline, however - follow your heart!

Stop worrying so much if she liked you, and decide if you liked her. Think on it, your apprehensions aside, did she seem like somebody you'd like to know better? If so, you have your answer.

First dates, especially when they're blind dates, rarely go smoothly. Stop being so hard on yourself.

If you like her, call her. If you like her a lot, and feel that she didn't see you at your best, there's nothing wrong with telling her that, too.

When it comes to matters of amour, everybody deserves a 2nd shot at a 1st impression. Here's hoping you get yours.
