I recently downloaded the latest iTunes update which includes something called "Bonjour". I don't know exactly what it does, but Zone Alarm doesn't like it. I did some searching, and found that Bonjour isn't a threat, but some programs (such as Zone Alarm) think it is.

I keep getting pop ups saying that Zone Alarm has blocked it, but it only gives me an option to not see the pop ups anymore. I can't find an option to make it NOT block Bonjour. Anyone have any idea what benefit Bonjour may have for me, or how I can get it to not be blocked? I think it might actually be causing my printer (which is connected to my network through cat5) to not work. I tried to print something, and it said it couldn't find my printer. I restarted the comp, and it started printing as my comp was booting back up.

The first thing I would to is disable ZoneAlarm temporarily to verify that it's part of the problem. If it works that way we can start working on how to fix ZA.

Inside ZA you could try turning off Program Control. Program Control is just there to limit the programs that are already on your computer. I know a couple of hundred people that use Zone Alarm (we have it at work, ugh) and almost no one uses Program Control. With it off you'll probably notice a 20% overall speed increase on your system.

Give that a shot and let us know how it works.

I just tried that, and I still got the "blocked intrusion" pop up. I'm not sure if it's messing up my printer still. I'm going to wait until tonight for that.
