Are you wearing them because you are too cool to care about how you look?
Stop it.
You look like sleestacks.

Here Here. I've vetted this frustration frequently over the last 2 years. The answer I keep getting back can basically be broken down to Paris Hilton wore them.
15 years from now when families break out the photo album, today's women will leave the room running saying they can't look at those just like your aunts do now when they look at 70's photos.
It really is a case of fashion placebo. Girls think they look better better because they're supposed to. They look in the mirror and they believe it. The only cure is to look at Brittney spears wearing them. That's what you look like, not Paris Hilton.
Used clothing stores are going to be full of these in just 6 months.

I totally disagree... they call these "Two Point Glasses" because it makes every girl two points more attractive... and I absolutely agree.
A guy wearing these on the other hand is just stupid.

Why not just wear a full face mask? or a sexy brown bag? you're more attracted to the sunglasses

On Earth 2!
You can't even get a notion of what she looks like with half her face covered. What they are is two points away from the all encompassing burka.

If girls wear the glasses because they think it makes them look better... and I obviously agree... then aparently it works for some people.

Even if they weren't stupid and ugly as shit, they make my head look amusingly small. Almost like my head got shrunk or something.

in weeworld, they were the closest thing to my actual sunglasses. i do enjoy the big over sized frames, but maybe not as round.

Eh, I think a lot of girls look pretty good in them.
However, I think it might have gotten out of hand when my 3 year old niece put my sister's oversized sunglasses on and she really didn't look that strange. She just sort of looked like one of the Olsen twins.

They cover too much of the face. A girl can look totally different after taking them off.
