I was at the stadium on Sunday. Great game for you guys. And got no flack about wearing my Sox hat, in fact had picture requests down in the lower bowl. But the reason for the post was one of the concession workers. A large black guy who was hilarious. In the middle of the game we start hearing this guy yelling like three sections over. Couldn't hear what he was saying but as he got closer we could tell he was talking about the Phillies. He would start yelling the lineup for the Phillies game that day and then intermitantly throw in who was warming up in the bullpen for the Yanks or bash mets fans he saw in the crowd by asking who was in first. Guy was a riot, was wondering if anyone else had heard this dude before?

TheMojoPin

BTW-Since I know Mojo is keeping score, the Yanks have won 7 of their last 9 games.

Good for them. They're still not going to hit the ridiculous mark set by the absurd blog post. I don't root for the Yanks to lose...but it's hilarious to see someone lose a complete grasp on reality when they talk about sports, even if they do get a million hits.

And you had total confidence in him after that inning? Be honest.

Whats really going on here is all the Yankee fans are afraid to say ANYTHING because the trolls around here jump all over every word. Personally I don't give a fuck, and skip over their posts.

You read ever fucking post you liar! And nice call on Moose! Oh, how many games have those spanks gained during that time?

and you still havent responded back in the horse racing thread where you made a difinitive statement that was COMPLETELY wrong. You just go around saying anything you feel like saying and then pretending people who call you out on your bullshit arent even there. You live in a fantasy land where you just believe anything you say or anything you read that is similar to things you wanna say.

How bout instead of ignoring people, you be a man and respond and try to fight for a single one of your points? oh yea, cause even you know they are insane.

Alex not on his A-game

What happens in Baltimore stays in Baltimore? Not necessarily. Yankee A-Rod drowned his sorrows over the team's loss to the birds last week at Baltimore's Hooters, and must have been so bummed that he dismissed a young fan who wanted his autograph.

"Excuse me, Mr. Rodriguez, may I please have your autograph?" the excited 10-year-old said to him.

The third baseman just mumbled, "Beat it."

He had two different words for the chesty waitress he bumped into as he left.

"Nice ass."

Classy.

TheGameHHH

I am just skeptical of young kids anymore. We heard Kennedys "pin point control" Hughes 95mph fastball. They even dominated AAA, but then struggled.

I am not saying he is not going to be good. nor am i saying that Hughes and Kennedy wont be. I am just saying stop reading stuff and believe what you see, when you see it.

Another ESPN anchor sexually harrassed someone and the victim got a settlement, and the anchor's punishment was counseling and a suspension.

Reynold's incident of "harrassment" was a lot less invasive and he got the boot. That was his argument.

Ok again, before you go try to jump on people, how do you know. You are aware games are on TV and the Radio, and so there is more then one set of announcers. Also, its possible you just missed it. Ive had on the entire hockey game so far and couldnt tell you 90% of the shit the announcers said.

I love how you are just tryin to nail someone being wrong, when he wasnt even tryin to start shit, just making an observation.

Look, I'm a little guilty of the BDC bashing (his insinuation that Joba wouldn't be starting for another month was a bit much) but enough's enough. He stopped posting in the thread. Let it go, and let's discuss the Yankees.

Knock it off.

Arod clutch as always.

Even the Rbi he got was a shallow fly that Jeter woulda been out if the catcher hangs on.

No, that pizza must be great since they almost missed a home run for it.

Torre would have given him the home run sign and Larry Bowa would have kicked his ass if he only hit a triple.

Nice pick by the Yanks here. He was projected as a top 10 player.

Ultimate Role: No. 1-2 starter

Summary: (Watch scouting video) Cole is a strongly built right-handed pitcher with the best arm among prep players in this draft. His fastball is electric, with a four-seamer at 96-97 mph and a two-seamer with good tail at 93-95 mph. His arm is loose and unbelievably quick. His delivery isn't smooth, however: His arm action is long and he gets his elbow up a little too high in the back. His breaking ball is a sharp curve with slider-like tilt, but it's inconsistent and he doesn't use it that often in games, pitching mostly off his fastball. Cole also has a changeup with good fading action that he tries to guide out of his hand. Makeup concerns surfaced after he chose Scott Boras as his advisor, but weren't a factor prior to last autumn. Stuff this good wouldn't get out of the top 10 picks if Cole was signable for slot, but the Boras connection and Cole's commitment to UCLA will see him fall to a team willing to pay top dollar for a top arm

I wanna hear spoon's excuse as to why the Gays lost the series.......was it the injuries he always blames losses on? was it bad umpiring? the wrong time of day? was the infield grass not cut properly? the seams on the baseballs were not wound tight enough? the maple bats didn't have enough pop in them? whatever it is, i know the excuse will be thrilling. where are ya spoon?

as much as farnsworth tried today, he could not throw this game for them. i am sure he is going to owe a bookie a lot of money for them winning today

i can not wait to see this replay tonight

That's a pretty impressive come from behind win. Will it be the momentum starter to end up 10 above .500 by June 27th?
