My wife has school and the kids don't. I'm hanging with the kids eating chocalate for breakfast and watching them build their new Legos. So far we have a Mars Mission and a Raiders of the Lost arc set built. Now a Sponge Bob set is in progress.

Anybody else home when they are usually at work at this time? Am I the only misfit eating chocalate and pretending I'm some kind of illegal child labor construction site foreman?

If it warms up we're going to work on the batting stance with the "Tee" in the back yard. If not our after lunch plan is a "ScienceWiz" Light project.

I had a "roll over" vacation day from last year that I had to use before the end of the month. Right now, I'm getting new tires for my wife's car.

They have The Morning Show With Mike And Juliet on in the NTB waiting area. My God, what a pile of shit this show is.

(Gvac, I apologize for not going to a "mom and pop" tire store.)

There's no remote, and the TV is to high up to change manually. I had to get out. Now I'm just wondering down the street like a homeless person. At least the weather's nice.

the kids are off today and either have high school softball practice or scrimmages but over the weekend i helped my freshman daughter build a 'mousetrap thingy' for school. it needed five 'whatchamacallits' so one lever will hit a car that hits another lever that will hit a 'round fishing weight' that will fall through a hole into a cup that will lift a platform which will roll a ball that will swing down and tip over a cup of sprinkles that will fall through a hole and down a chute onto a cupcake...

Reminds me of how many times I've built this thing vs. how many times I've actually played the game.

speaking of a mousetrap: we had mice for a while in our apt where my 4 brothers and I grew up in jersey city. the oldest brother had his own room and one night he calls me in to show me something ( no not his dick ) anyway

he told me he was hearing a mouse in the corner of his room at night so what he did was, he leaned a wooden folding chair against the wall and that chair held a 2 1/2 pound weight (from his dumbell set) precariously against the wall. he sets it up and then jumps into bed with one of his slippers in hand. he leans up and throws the slipper at the chair and hence the weight falls to the floor.

he was very proud of himself but never got a mouse. i'm sure the tenants downstairs loved hearing that weight hit the floor too

I'm still home with the kids. Today we're rocking the Nintendo DS and some more baseball practice. School reopens tomorrow. I wish I had the extra cash to take them upstate to ski yesterday. I need to stop working every single weekend.

I really don't care for this DS thing. My daughter is pissing me off with hers. Every word out of her mouth is "can I play with my DS?" yet she's not doing what I tell her to do. Although, its a great object to take away when she's not listening. hahahahaha

We limit it on school nights to 1 hr.(after homework and we use an obnoxious timer) The boundaries expand and contract on the weekends depending on behavior and if my wife has a paper due. My son was one of the last kids to get one in his group(7). My attitude towards the DS changes often, but I did buy a second one so my wife could Wifi link with him.

My daughter is allowed to play hers when I'm driving her to school in the morning, which is 10 mins away and for a half an hour before bed. She's 4. The only 2 games she has right now are Spongebob and some Disney Princess game but she wants Mario Bros and some puppy game that shes not getting because she has to feed it, walk it, bathe it, nooooo! We have a real dog, she doesn't need that in a game!

My mother bought her this DS for Easter. I'm not happy.
