Big Dog is a product of Boston Dynamics and DARPA. It is the most advanced quadruped robot in the world... and it is, in a word, horrifying.

At first glance, not all that creepy... until around 0:35, when someone attempts to kick it over. And then again at 1:25, when it slips up on some ice, and rights itself faster than most humans can. This thing is disgustingly lifelike.

Big Dog is amazing. He's just a multiterrain packmule, and he doesn't have a head, but when the guy tries to kick him over on the ice, I got mad at the guy! I didn't want him to push the Big Dog around!
