I'm pretty sure the bar will be over 21. The only places that arent are restaraunts and big clubs. Go to Times Square or the village and get a cheesy fake ID. If any girls need a fake, I have my old one that I can lend out.

you can get an id for about $30 in times square. theyll tell you its $50 but tell them $30. Besides that, I don't know what to tell you. The majority of us are over 21, and have decided to go out to a bar. The underage gathering didn't work. If you wanna go, get an id, or try to get into the bar without one. I haven't been to this specific bar, but I know most places in Manhattan are gonna id ya.

I'll be there with you guys, and then head over to OA for the few nice people that hang there. This is right in my neighborhood, though. If anyone wants to start early, there's plenty of restaurants and bars right there, too. Mo's, Doc Watson's, Kell's, and Brother Jimmy's for starters.
Oh, and if you can't afford a fake, how can you expect to afford a night out drinking in Manhattan? Unless you were expecting other people to buy you drinks all night... If you're there by eight, most places (I don't know about Iggy's) don't have anyone working the door yet, and then once you're in, just don't approach the bar.

Just to reply to something early in the thread. It doesn't matter how long you've been on the board, you're welcome to attend any gathering. We don't exclude anyone. With that said, since most of us are age, we aren't going to bars to be exclusionary, but to go out and drink and do more adult things (I'd say mature, but I know this group)

Can't wait to see you all on Sat night - Looks like I just may croon a tune. I probably have to leave abit early but I will be there. Eh, don't feel bad Fig...I couldn't make it and I REALLY wanted to meet up with all the folks of the board. I was hoping to get a chance to meet everyone and maybe make some new friends, but alas, I couldn't. Simply cuz I'm just too exhausted. My band played a very sucessful show last night, and I hardly slept, and had a ton of shit to do today, and I live an hour and 40 minutes outside of the city and didn't get home til 8:45 pm.

Blah blah blah, excuse excuse excuse....

So I'm sure everyone that WOULD be posting is having a good time by now, at least I hope they are. The "best of" shows tonight are all choppy again and most of the night was Billy Staples replay about John Edwards. So, you're not missing much.

Anyway, I hope you all had a good time and maybe I'll catch the next one.
