i would say lent is the worst post season because gvac only posts on sundays and that fucks up the whole board till tuesday. maybe if we had a non-catholic post season then things would run smoother here. just a thought.
btw, i am very very drunk and i love you all:drunk:

easiest answer ever

wow you asked this question

even a non NBA fan can get into close games, a structured playoff system , and for this year an outstanding Western Conference

the bowl system is ludicrous , it rewards awful school with a Bowl that is the only thing on TV, you watch 2 teams that are subpar and you have no afiliation with

Have the top 16 Battle it out in a College Playoff Scenerio

fuck cowtowing to big name school who have sub par years, the best teams play for the title, the rest can fucking watch for all I fucking care

worst poll question ever, and we had some dumb ones last Wednesday, nothing personal

I said nothing personal so u can't be offended

yea the shitty bowl games are far worse.....even in the first round of the NBA playoffs a game 7 can be really cool to watch.

Granted a playoff system would only enhance the NCAA post season, but the bowl games crush the NBA playoffs.
First, who gives a damn about the NBA?
Every bowl game is essentially the championship game for the two teams involved. Just off the top of my head thinking back a few years of the memorable bowl games that will go down in history as some of the greatest games of all time regardless of what sport - Boise St./OU - Fiesta Bowl, Texas/Michigan - Rose Bowl, Texas/USC - Rose Bowl, and FSU/Penn St - Orange Bowl. These are just four games that came to mind, all within the last 3-4 years that are all time classic games. Maybe these exist on the NBA side, none come to mind, and few except for those that had Big Shot Bob Horry were for the deciding game.
You can argue the BCS doesn't pit the true #1 vs #2, but you can't argue the bowl system provides much more excitement and better games than the NBA playoffs.

And yet they are not championships so who cares.

"We won the Meineke Muffler bowl in 2003!" Yawn.

While I have no love for the "Association" and it's boring ass play, at least thier postseason has meaning and structure. The smaller NCAA schools in the lower divisions have playoffs, but the Big Boys AD's do not want thier "student athletes" to have thier studies interupted by a playoff format. I call bullshit and evreyone can see through the transparency of the school's greed. It is a shame. On a side note what kind of water do they use on the turf in Boise ? That blue turf would made some bitchin hybrid bud I betcha.
