Basically you pick a country, find a home, request to trade homes, and you live in each other's house for a pre-determined period of time.

Would you guys ever do this?

Man, that could be cool. Especially if you don't want to get into buying a new house and getting higher property taxes for doing so (California). If you could find a responsible person, it would be a really cool way to vacation too..

Although, I admit I would never trust some asshat from the nets in my house.

It might suck..what if the slob from the other country destroyers your place. Or does something that you might not see right away but down the line could mess things up, like plumbing or electrical.

I say if you want a stranger in your house...just leave the doors, windows open and hang a sign that says "We have Cash" That will get them in their.

I guess they would have to..but sorry could not do it. I don't want friends or family staying at my place when I am not around...never mind crazies. Just could not do it.

We use to exchange homes with our cousins in Connecticut all the time when we were kids. Not a different country but fun nonetheless.
