In fact, there are pitchers who make careers throwing just a fastball, a change off of it, and a splitter. You will never find a pitcher who can make a career throwing only curves and sliders

im not against a slider. I threw one when I pitched. Also, if you have a good enough change up, you can go fastball change and a splitt and really fuck with peoples heads.


And a slider when thrown well is much better and more manly then a curve ball. Take a look at the slider in that kerry wood 20th K of the game highlight. 80+ MPH wiffle ball shit
