Make it stop!!!

I have my Gmail account set up to work with my Blackberry. Works great. There's one annoying problem, though. Any time I send an email (either from the phone or from my computer), it sends a copy of the email to my phone. I've searched all the settings I can find on both the phone and my Gmail account. Does anyone know how I can make this crap stop?

My Iphone does the same thing... I never even thought there might be a way to stop it.

in gmail did you try settings/forwarding/pop download?

I would just take it to the At&t store or whoever your provider is and have them handle it in person. If there's a way to make it stop, they should know.

My sister just got a new Blackberry and her text messages are being deleted automatically immediately as they hit her inbox. She's lazy and won't take the above advice and I can't figure out how to fix it. Anybody know?

gmail uses imap to do the email, which keeps everything synced between the server and different devices. I never look at the sent mail folder to notice that it downloaded those too to my ipod touch and phone.

scroll down to advanced
then have her select whatever one she uses
its level 1 messages, i think
select it.

then you can choose the notification type.
