remember this old skool shit?
it was channel 96 by my house back in the day.
it was on when the playboy channel was off air.

you used to call in and, with your phone, dial a code to order what music video you wanted to see.

this is the most that i can find about it.

I was really hoping this thread was about the greatest electronic song ever, Orbital's The Box (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Box_%28Orbital_song%29).

Fuck yeah, I remember The Box.

I remember seeing the great video "Put 'em on the Glass," by Sir-Mix-A-Lot, on The Box.

Good times.

The Box was the best place to go to see Music Videos that were banned from MTV.

It was YouTube before the internets.

The Box was great.

Sadly, the Box was bought out by Viacom, and they were all turned into MTV2's. Ironically, that was when MTV2 became MTV2 as opposed to what it originally was, M2, which showed nothing but videos. So MTV buys an all music video network, and then replaces it with their own all-music video channel, which they promptly turn into a non-muisc video channel.
