Anyone a fan of these games? Not sure if it was today or yesterday but the newest installment of the extremely popular and well done Warhammer 40K PC games is out now. For anyone who doesn't know Warhammer 40K was a tabletop game played with miniature figures in a game of strategy that would totally get made fun of by most people because you paint models and roll 20 sided dice for shit. Even I don't have the patience to play the tabletop game anymore, but the video games let you play the game in a much more entertaining way with moving graphics and you don't have to dump $$$ on plastic and pewter models, then paint them.
I started playing this series with Dark Crusade but you just like it you don't need the earlier games to play the new ones, you just need the 2 older games and the one expansion to the 1st game if you want all available races to play online. If you're like me and never plan to play the game online, don't bother.
This new game added The Sisters of Battle and the Dark Eldar to the playable races. Kinda weird they added Sisters of Battle because I had heard they were removed from the tabletop game and their Codex wasn't being renewed.
Game is a lot of fun but I never play it without the "trainer" which is a polite way of saying "Horrible Cheating Program that lets you have as many guys as you want and breaks all the squad cap rules and you don't have to collect points or wait for units to be built." It's not out yet so I won't play the game for real until I can find a working trainer online.
Hope someone else out there is a fan of the series.
