I hope this is the last title bout for awhile for edgar. I root for him since hes a local guy but it seems like everytime he fights its for a belt. Give someone else a shot

I love how Edgar and Sonnen get title shots without ever fighting anyone in their new weight division.
Now Pettis wants to move down to Featherweight to fight Aldo and that fight will most likely happen.

I'm hoping that after the Rousey-Carmouche fight, Gina Carano rushes the ring and she and Rousey go down on each other.

I can't wait for the fight tonight. So glad UFC is getting a female division going and are getting good press about it. I've seen Ronda on the front page of CNN twice this week. It's ashame Gina Carano ducked out early in her career as she was a good face for the women. But Ronda will do.. She's carrying the spotlight well and a much better fighter than Gina ever was.

Never thought of it that way, but yeah she does have a resemblance to her.
Didn't watch the card, but I just saw the highlights from that fight. I see there was almost a wardrobe malfunction there, folowed up by a kick to her tit.

So, is anyone watching this season of TUF?
I have to say, while I was getting bored of it because the series had grown stale, they really picked up the production value this time and have made it fun again. It also doesn't hurt that the coaches (Jones and Sonnen) aren't acting like assholes who hate each other. Quite the opposite, they actually are cordial and joke around with each other.
That's the main thing that started to annoy me about this show is it became all about the coaches and their upcoming fight and less about the aspiring fighters. Now the two coaches know what this show is about and have taken a backseat.
And I have to say even though I still don't believe that Sonnen deserved a title shot after fighting no one at LHW, I respect him a lot more and is IMO the best coach this show has seen to date.
Oh, and I hope Uriah Hall destroys every one he fights.
Second oh, next season will have male and female fighters and Rousey will be one of the coaches.

It's pretty awesome. All the fights have been really good and Sonen as a coach is just phenominal. Love what he said in the Uriah heel kick KO episode about failure always being an option, and the most readily available one at that. There are a number of fighters this season I could see having a long, productive career in the UFC. I do think that this Uriah kid, while extremely talented, is an absolute mess. Maybe its just the stress of living in the house, but he's a complete mental case. He's like the weird goth kid from high school that sits in the back. He's socially awkward and acts like he's had this extremely difficult life because when he got made fun of when he was a kid he didn't know how to handle it because he didn't really speak the language. Even still, that KO was insane and I am looking forward to seeing him fight again.

I hope Uriah absolutely destroys Bubba in their fight.
As far as I'm concerned Bubba is the biggest overhyped fighter in the house, if not the entire series. He has shown me little to nothing in the cage, yet they talk about him like he's the best one there and is easily a lock for the finals.
Based on what, being dominated by the youngest fighter ever on the show and then having one good round against another fighter who quit? Yeah, I see superstar written all over that.

Fan-Fucking-Tastic!
The only other person I've ever seen knock someone senseless while backing up was Anderson Silva. Seriously, how much power do you have to possess to relieve someone of consciousness while moving away?
I'm torn now about next week. On one hand I now want to see Uriah knock the shit out of that arrogant ass Josh Samman, but then that would mean I'd have to root for him to win against Kelvin who has potential for days.

While I like Sonnen, can the "let's give him title shots just because he asks for them" experiment be over now?

What a god damned mess this next card is. Noguiera is injured, sonnen steps in, Sonnen can't fight because of visa issues for Canada, and now the fight is scrapped entirely. Also, not that I really believe it because I read it on yahoo and they have no clue what they're talking about when it comes to mma, but the Evans vs Henderson fight that has now become the main event is only three rounds? that would suck. It has become infuriating watching this stuff lately....every friggin' card just gets the guts ripped out of it because of injuries, and when both fighters actually make it to the octogon, the fight is waved off because one idiot can't throw a punch at his opponent poking him through his eye and touching his brain. this sucks.

Down goes Silva!
It serves him right too after how much he showboated. Problem is he is so used to everyone missing when he does that, he never expected to actually get caught.
I predict he'll win the rematch though as he won't screw around like that and will pick Weidman apart.

I don't follow the sport, but read last week that a LOT of fighters were predicting silva to lose this one.

I dont see Silva beating him in a rematch. Maybe sensei Segal can find a way. Id love to know what Silvas fascination is with boxing Roy Jones Jr. Roy has gotta be close to 50 and hasnt been relevant in boxing since 2002.

So, anyone here actually watching this season's TUF with Rousey and Tate as the coaches?
I was really looking forward to it as A) I thought it would be cool to see new female up-and-comers and B) I have a thing for Ronda Rousey, but man I have totally soured on her seeing what a bitch she is. All she does is have a nasty attitude and comes across as an asshole Diaz brother. It's quite a shame because when she smiles (I think she has a killer one) and goofs around, she can be quite attractive and fun.
I gotta say, if not for the nose, Miesha Tate would actually be much hotter than Rousey. She definitely has a better rack, that's for sure.
Any way, after seeing this, I think I am actually pulling for Tate to win the rematch now which I was the opposite feeling going into this season.

I stopped watching after Roxy lost. The show is stale as fuck and the only thing that might possibly save it is a year or two off.
