i OWN an Ipod Nano that I won at the Big Ass Bash last year.
However... I have yet to actually use it at all. It sits lonely in its case, waiting for some attention.

Maybe someday I will figure out how to utilize it..... hehe

I have three ways of playing mp3's on the go, and they're all cheap. My XM Nexxus plays them, I have a cheap $80 mp3 player that also plays video, and I have a USB jump drive on my key chain that I can plug into my car stereo. Yet, I almost NEVER listing to anything but the Ron & Fez show. As a matter of fact, just about the only time I use any of the mp3 players, is to listen to old R&F shows, or Hideout shows.

I'm on my second iPod now. My Zune worked fine, but I had to get an iPod when I made the switch to a Macbook a couple of months ago. Can't beat 80GB for $225. I've been curious about the Innos, but since I already have an iPod and rarely record any XM programming (every once in a while, I'll record something with my My-Fi), I don't really see a reason to upgrade.

I only recently put my entire cd collection into my Apple iTunes on my computer.

My cell phone has no picture or mp3 technology.

Does this make me a bad person?

I was late to the party. In many ways I'm technologically like Zoolander.

I bought one years ago and could not figure it out to the point of throwing it away after it gathered dust for a year. Looking back thats pathetic, but there it is.

Now I'm an iPod zombie. It's gonna go over 13,000 songs todays with the CDs I found. Flea Markets rule; you find someone selling at a buck a CD and soon I'm an addict. LIke those vinyl junkies. Crazy fucks.

I thought having access to it all would diminish the value of the music, now my Ministry and Madonna and Mozart and Metallica are all accessible instantly. It rules.

Needs convergence though, still.

Convergence = we're still waiting for the seperate technologies to converge. Canon has great iPod sized cams but they play shitty music [geh geh]. The iPod takes shitty pics [ditto]. The Magelan GPS doesnt allow text messaging, and your iPhone doesnt hold 2TBs of memory.

There are some that are good at one or more of these, but not to the point of the best of computers, movies, phones, cameras, GPS, data storage, WonkaVator, etc. all in a single unit the size of an inno.

I only listen to my car cd player too. I'm out of touch. When I told snoogans about that he was amazed and asked me how I listened to music in the house and I said I don't. He had to show much how to use my media player on my laptop. :blink:
