A 7-year-old boy is in critical condition after being found hanging by his shirt collar from a clothing hook in a charter school's dressing room, and police tried to determine Thursday whether it was an attack or an accident.
The boy had attended an assembly at the Not Your Ordinary School campus and asked to be excused to go the bathroom. He was found as the assembly was ending; there was no surveillance camera in the area.

Police said the clothing hook was low enough that the boy might have gotten himself stuck, but they don't know how he ended up on it or how long he was hanging.

How the hell is the kid in critical condition? I've hung kids and been hung by kids using the old "shirt collar on the jacket hook" routine, and nobody ever got even a little bit hurt....pride maybe, but no physical injuries.

The shirt collar cut off the boy's oxygen, and he was unconscious when a teacher found him Wednesday,

Must have been two sizes too small for it to actually choke him.

I went to Camp Kadimah in Bayonne (No I'm not Jewish, it was just summer storage) and they used to hang kids from hooks with Atomic Wedgies, lock kids in lockers, snap the girls bras, kick other kids in the balls, titty twisters, you name it.
Back in the 70's it was shit you tried to avoid, today it's a big lawsuit and kids would be lucky to have these things happen to them because they would get PAID.
