I may have to rethink my stance on the Brewers after that pitiful display.

The Mets are 1 1/2 games behind them, the Phillies are 3 1/2 if they win tonight.

The Brewers have six left with the Cubs (who are also playing awfully, though), and four with the Phils.

They very well could slip out to which ever one of those NL East teams doesn't win the division.

I can't believe I know this shit off the top of my head, but here is the official Sausage Race lineup:

1. Bratwurst
2. Polish Sausage
3. Italian Sausage
4. Hot Dog
5. Chorizo

Maybe I should spend less time at Miller Park?

I'm surprised that I didn't have a heart attack watching tonight's game. It's nice that the Brewers are now 4 up in the Wild Card and 4 out in the Division race.

It's nice that the Brewers decided to play like shit the same time as the Cubs. 6 games lost and only 2.5 shaved off the division lead? Thank the fucking Lord.

And man, what bed-shitting it is. The Cubs are totally failing with pitching, hitting AND defense. They're so bad right now, it's actually remarkable to watch. There's really no point in getting worked up over it...they either shake it off or they don't. Nothing else you can do at this point.

I've been going insane this week with the Cubs losing. But then again, EVERYBODY is gonna have a couple of hot streaks & a couple of cold streaks...it's just about lengthening the hot streaks and stopping the cold streaks.

The Cubs are honestly too talented to NOT snap out of it.

Fucking Brewers.

I was at the bar screaming for the Padres to pull that game out like a fucking madman. First and third with one out and they can't score?????

Fuck the Padres, too.

I just keep telling myself it's better to have this slump now as opposed to later in the month or in October.

Especially considering the fact that the Cubs could very well be facing the Diamondbacks in the first round again this season.

Yeah, the 1-2 punch of Harden and Webb is tought to top. That's why I want them to sit Harden and Zambrano for the next couple of weeks and give them a couple of starts at the end of like 80 pitches each, tops.

Arizona is really damned dangerous, especially in a first round series. Harden + Webb and maybe you can get a good start out of Johnson....hell that is a monster.

Although I'll admit that their offense isn't half as scary as last year without Eric Byrnes having that insane career year in the middle of everything.

This Brewers/Astros race for the Wild Card is quickly turning into something similar to the Phils/Mets race from last year.

I think it's delicious that the Brewers have to root for the Cubs to win in the Brewer's own stadium to keep the Astros at bay in the WC chase.

Pitchers & Catchers have reported and it's time to battle for the NL Central crown. Rather than starting 3 different threads...I figured we could all argue in one conveniently located thread.

Alright, I'll start the mess with my division predictions for the season:

1. Brewers
2. Cubs
3. Reds
4. Astros
5. Cardinals
6. Pirates

Live with that MojoPin!

I appreciate your high expectations for the Reds and low expectation for the cards.

This is why the Pirates suck

http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/8843860/Pirates-sign-Indian-pitchers-from-reality-TV-show-

If your lazy, they signed two guys from India who won a reality show called "Million Dollar Arm" neither guy picked up a basebal in their lives until this year.

im pretty sure i read that they were contestants but neither of them won the show

yep i was right

Singh and Patel came to the United States six months ago after being the top finishers in an Indian reality TV show called the "Million Dollar Arm" that drew about 30,000 contestants. The show sought to find athletes who could throw strikes at 85 mph or faster.

While neither pitcher threw hard enough to earn the $1 million prize, Singh made $100,000 from the contest and Patel made $2,500, plus his trip to the United States.
