Devil May Cry 4

First PS3 game I've played. Holy crap. How is there not a thread about this yet. You get:

Gun
Sword
Demonic Arm

The graphics are insane. I don't know if there is a difference between PS3 and 360 version, but graphically this is the best game I've seen yet.

When i saw the topic i was going to ask you whether or not you were playing on the PS3 or XBox 360

The commercials look really good, but dont know if its worth getting with some of the other good games coming out, Total War and RS6:LV 2 to name a few

Stupid XBOX is sucking me in to using them for all multi-platform games because I like achievements... but the PS3 version of DMC installs itself to the PS3's hard drive so the load times are really minimal.

It is definitely worth at least a rent. I get all my games through Gamefly anyway, I just keep the ones I really like.

Yeah it was originally supposed to be exclusive to PS3 but i think Microsoft ponied up some money to get it as a dual release to XBox as well.

And i agree that PS3 missed the boat with acheivements, i dont even look at what achievements i can get for games because i like the surprise when they pop up

And you know that GTA IV will have exclusive download content for XBox only

I'm on the 2 games out plan and I think it's $24.95/mo. It's so worth it if you game a lot. and if you decide to keep the game, it can be cheaper than buying it used at Gamestop.

Also you get something like $5 in credits every 3 months that you can use to buy a game. I've found that shipping is really fast, and with 2 games out, I finish one, send the 1st back, start the 2nd, and the replacement game for the 1st is here before I finish the second game.

Missy is right, Gamefly is the best.

The shipping times aren't bad and the Keep It option is awesome, and most of the games end up being pretty cheap. And they even send you the case and everything if you buy it.

Devil May Cry 4 is great. The only differences between the two versions are the load times and achievements. I just wished that Dante had more different things in the game.

Achievements trumps the bother of load times

The load times actually aren't all that bad on the 360.

Ok, so I beat it on Human mode. I thought it was great... but am I missing something? How the hell are Dante and Nero related?

That's something I couldn't figure out either. I can only assume that Nero is some incarnation of Virgil or something. That would kinda explain why Yamato is such a focus of the game.
