So, just finished watching the new season premiere. Anyone else?
I liked it, but it didn't quite have the juice they had at the end of season 1. That's to be expected, I think, so let's give them a chance to ramp up.
I'm very interested to find out where things will go with a "new" United States. I hope they take their time before wrapping up the mystery and re-uniting all 50 states. That little bit of "what-if" has a ton of dramatic possibilities.
Love the fact that they brought this show back because of fan support. Just hope the ratings can reflect it this time around. If for nothing else, you should check it out just to support the networks listening to the viewers for a change!

I was sorely disappointed with the premiere last night. The show seems to have lost all the tension and drama that came with not knowning what the fuck was going on with the rest of the country. That was the thing that kept drawing me back to the show. The acting stinks, the characters are very one-dimensional and the writing is pretty weak. It's the show's premise that was incredibly captivating, especially the Robert Hawkins subplot and the feud between the neighboring towns. In my opinion, they should have continued where they left of last season (which was a pretty huge cliff-hanger if I remember correctly) and not introduced the army or start rebuilding. Let the chaos continue. I'll give it a couple more tries but I'm ready to bail.

I loved the first season, and I was very happy when, thanks in part to me, it came back.
But I agree that when it returned, it kinda lost it's way. I didnt notice if they lost their writers or whatever, but it just didnt have the same feel. Maybe they were rushed to bring it to a conclusion.
It was an interesting project, and definitely worth a watch, especially season 1.
I just think it wouldve been better had it not been interrupted.

Did you watch past the first 2 eps of this season? I thought it started out pretty weak, but turned massively awesome. Hawkins = best character ever.

Yep. Saw them all right up to last night's finale.
Didnt you feel it was rushed? I mean, there was 10 minutes left, and I'm freaking out because theres no way they can end it all in 10 minutes!
If this show had the support that LOst does, it could easily have told its whole story in 3 or 4 years.

the reason for that was there was 2 endings filmed
one that would have led to a season 3
and
the one we saw last night that wrapped up things in case ratings sucked ass
