A Challenge for All of You Obscure Movie Buffs

OK, this is a tough one. This ones been driving me crazy trying to figure out

In '84 & '85 I worked in a movie theatre and one of the first movies that played while I was there was this really stupid movie about a guy (teenager) who is on his way to prison and escapes the cops by wriggling out of his cuffs while they get a burger. Anyway, he hooks up with this hot blond (who I think is a hooker) who is on the run from one of her clients (who might be a cop, not sure). I know it ends when the guy kills the man that is chasing the blond, but he ends up dying as well

I know that I'm not giving you guys much, but it's all that I can remember.

Any info will help heal my tortured mind.

I FOUND IT!!!

I remembered that the guy look like Eric Stoltz, so I looked him up in IMDB and here it is. The movie was called 'Running Hot'. Couldn't find a poster, but here is the imdb plot outline: A teenager, wrongly convicted and sentenced to death for the murder of his father, escapes from jail. He hooks up with a prostitute and they take to the road to find the real killer of his father.

The hot blond was named Monica Carrico (can't find a picture of her either)
