There are some people in my office who generally abuse the toaster over in ways that I doubt they would at home.
One woman (black - not that it matters..) has been known to cook oxtails and fish in it and it makes a horrendous stink! Shes forgotten about it and the whole place fills with smoke and stink. Its really bad sometimes. So, one day this manager couldnt take it anymore and waited a while and stormed into the kitchen and smashed it and threw the whole thing away amidst cheers.
Since then, we have not had a toaster, but someone came in today with a brand new one.
They set it up and the woman who usually stinks the place up was so excited. I made a sign that no oxtails or fish should be roasted in it and to keep it clean (the other one was filthy). Afterward, someone came to me and said that the woman could be offended by my sign, so I went and threw out the sign. Is it wrong to make a sign? What would be an appropriate reminder not to cook stinky shit?
