Anybody else try and workout twice a day? If so how do you break it up?

I do this all the time...When you wake up, try and eat a very light breakfast then go to the gym and do cardio. I find the best thing to do in the morning is swim laps. If that doesn't work or you just can't swim, try the stationary bike. Just do something for 30-45 minutes and keep your heart pumping. Try doing some ab exercises as well. Then when you are finished, eat a protein rich meal. Clean yourself up, and go to work (assuming you have managed to secure gainful employment) and stretch if you can. Eat again about 2-3 hours after your workout. Have a small lunch, then eat again about an hour before your afternoon/night workout. During this workout---go heavy. Lift some weights and when you are done, eat a great meal and go to bed. Don't eat an hour or 2 before you go to bed.
It stinks, but if you are committed; the results will be there soon enough. Are you training for something or just want o get in shape?

Yeah, when I triathlon trained, I swam 3 mornings a week and would either bike or run that night.
You get used to it.

Thanks for the breakdown. I'm really just trying to get into better shape. I feel a hell of a lot better when I'm working out twice a day. I wanted to see how other people approach this sort of workout. I dig your advice about cardio and some abs in the morning, I think I'll work that into my routine.

I've started tossing around the idea of doing two-a-days but it just seems like it would suck too much ass. if i stop losing weight with the way i work out now then ill consider it more.

I did my first two a day yesterday. Felt pretty good. I did cardio and weights in the mid morning and another round of cardio in the evening.
This morning I decided to take Tee Bones advice and do some cardio and abs, followed by heavy lifting in the PM (with an additional 20-30 minutes of cardio). Lets see how this goes.
