I was at the park today with my husband and daughter having fun minding our own business when I notice this rude girl (probably around age 17) and her friend staring at us. We walk past them (they were sitting on swings) then they get up and start walking behind us, and the one bitch says loudly "I'd never let my daughter wear polka dots" And goes on about how she can't believe I let her out in public like that etc. My daughter is 18 months old!! I was so mad I was twitching and said something about her hideous outfit (childish I know but when you're boiling mad...) and this cunt goes on and on while walking away with her friend making fun of us the whole time. I ended up yelling and gesturing too but now I'm mad at myself for getting caught up in it. What the hell is wrong with people? Here is a family with a baby trying to enjoy a day in the park and this bitch has to ruin it. Unbelievable.

However, the teenager obviously has low self esteem, probably has an unhappy family life, and may have other problems as well. Or, she was just an evil, self-centered little bitch.

It sucks, but sometimes you just have to ignore stuff like that because (oddly) your happiness can create a 'negative' response from some very unhappy people.

Either way, don't fault yourself for reacting - it is a normal reaction. Be happy that you have a beautiful daughter, wonderful family, and know how to treat others with respect. It's easier said than done, but let it slide off your back.

This all reminds me of my own problem with complete strangers putting fucking two cents in when they shouldn't. So, like four years ago, I'm really into running, I ran every day, the entire boardwalk and back, on Staten Island. It made me feel great, I was in shape, looking suave, just like The Jays ought to, ya know? One day, I'm running, and in front of me, are four fat women, in their late 20's, early 30's, sitting like beached whales on the esplanade just before the boardwalk, attempting to get some sun while wearing these awful one piece swimsuits. I run past them, not thinking anything of it, and, I start hearing "YOOO, LOOK AT THOSE FUCKING EARS. WHAT AN UGLY FUCKER. HEY DUMBO! FUCKING DON'T RUN TO FAST YOU'LL FLY AWAY! "

On a completely unrelated note I was at the supermarket last Sunday, picking up some last minute things for a friends SB party, and I'm on 1 of the 3 self checkout lines.

On the line next to me is a lady's that's obvioulsy not very technologically advanced or had just never used the self checkout thing and was taking longer than most people do.

All 3 lines are about 3 people deep.

The lady that's 3rd in line behind the slow lady keeps huffing and looking to other people in the other line as if to say the slow lady sucks.

She does this a few times and it took everything that was in me not to fucking say something to her.

I wanted to be like " Listen maybe if you weren't so slow in doing whatever it is that you were doing you might've beaten slow lady to the front of the line and wouldn't be waiting behind her !! "

It was one of those things that annoyed me watching it happen to another person.

I'd have had the same feeling if i witnessed your scenario and probably would've said something to the tramp.
